Gary and Gairn decided to have a 3.1kWh solar pv system installed onto their south west roof in Upham, Hampshire. Heat Your Home For Less designed a system using a slightly larger than normal panel to make best use of the space available.   The Requirement - The requirement was for a large solar PV array to be installed over the existing building. It was important that the size of the system did not exceed 4kWp so as to maximise the feed in tariff yield, yet still meet the requirements of the building.
